Welcome, alumni! Whether you attended Green Acres during the preschool years or you were a “lifer,” the Alumni Office and online resources exist to help stay in touch with classmates, school friends, and former teachers. 2022 Alice Mendham Powell Award Winner

Green Acres School founder Alice Mendham Powell believed that education is the engine of social change. This award in her honor goes to a Green Acres School alum who has demonstrated independent thought and made outstanding professional, philanthropic, or volunteer accomplishments in an area such as: education, business, athletics, creativity, or work for the greater good.

Gina Lentine '01

For nearly 15 years, Gina Lentine '01 has covered key human rights issues in Eastern Europe in a professional and academic capacity. Gina currently works at the US Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. 

"My interest in history, human rights, and Russia and Eastern Europe began in Victor's world studies class. Victor’s class was special for many reasons, but its focus on individuals, people, and social movements made it really unique..."
