After School
When you love school as much as our students do, staying on campus after dismissal is something to look forward to.
PM Care & Extra Care
Green Acres offers its families a PM Care program from the end of the school day until 6 PM. Extra Care is also available from 8 AM–5 PM on select days when school is closed for conferences or professional development. PM Care offers yearly contracts for 1–5 days per week. The program provides students with a safe environment for children after school; an opportunity for children to interact, play, and develop relationships; homework time for 3rd–8th grades; and snack.
All enrolled Green Acres students are eligible to participate. Pre-k and kindergarten students use the PM Care room as their main space, while older students typically gather in the Big Room. Thanks to sibling connections and friendships, students of different ages often spend time together, but each group also has its own space and staff support geared to their age level.
Athletics (grade 4 & up)
Our after-school athletics program offers students an opportunity to participate fully on a number of teams, including soccer, cross-country, basketball, and track and field. Many of our Middle Schoolers participate regularly in at least two sports during their time at Green Acres.
Enrichment classes
The after-school enrichment program offers after-school classes designed to enhance your child’s educational experience. Classes are offered throughout the school year in three sessions. Recent offerings have included chess, debate, martial arts, cooking, STEAM, soccer, and even seasonal swim lessons in our on-campus pool.
