Building Bridges—Portraits of Immigrants and Refugees

This beautifully photographed exhibit offers an intimate view of the lives of immigrants, refugees, and asylum-seekers. Each photograph is accompanied with text that shares personal stories of the individuals, allowing viewers to meet and learn about the lives of real people who have chosen to become, or hope to become, citizens of the United States.

Please join us for a viewing of the exhibit followed by a presentation moderated by Michele Kayal from Relief International with panelists from The Latin American Youth Center and Identity who will discuss the challenges faced by immigrant youth and families in our communities and share personal experiences.
Date: Thursday, January 18, 2018
