Support Green Acres
There are several ways to make meaningful financial contributions to Green Acres School.
The Green Acres Fund—Gifts to the Green Acres Fund support all who teach and learn at Green Acres. These investments in our program and students provide income for many important initiatives such as STEAM education, professional development opportunities for teachers, financial aid, and much more. Gifts can be designated to one of our Family of Funds: the arts, technology, Alumni Traditions Fund, area of greatest need, etc.
Named Funds—Named funds are created are an excellent way to leave a lasting gift to support specific areas of the Green Acres School program. Gifts can be made to create new named funds by reaching out to Annie Groat. In addition, donors often make contributions to one of the following named funds. Anne T. Goodrich Memorial Scholarship Fund, Arnold S. Cohen Fund for the Arts, Diversity and Inclusivity Fund, Mary and Rafael Hirtz Fund for ECU Enrichment, The Janyne Oberdorfer Scholarship Fund, The Louis Silvano All-Staff In-Service Fund, the STEAM Fund, and The Orloff Family Faculty Award.
Endowment Funds—Gifts for our endowment help ensure the long-term financial viability of Green Acres School. Gifts can be made directly to our endowment fund or given as part of a special Campaign or Planned Gift.
Auxiliary Enterprises—Green Acres Summer Camp program and our guidebook, Going Places with Children in Washington, DC, are sold to our community and the public. All proceeds support our operating budget.
