OUR PROGRAM

Teachers read Kindergarteners a story

Green Acres students don't experience school as separate from real life: For every topic and skill learned, students understand how their knowledge fits into the world around them. Authentic learning experiences—from learning to count by operating the Kindergarten store, to learning about virus transmission by developing masks to test on model lungs—inspire a lifelong love of learning and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in high school and beyond.

I believe that these are the critical years for our children—and I mean the critical years for the rest of their lives. If we can engage them intellectually and convince them of their capacity to achieve what they want, they will inevitably find their passions and make a difference in their worlds.peter, P'21, P'24
