To promote a nurturing environment, we keep the activity groups small—typically six children. The camp day is a creative mix of indoor and outdoor activities, and a balance of free choice and structured time.
For 2021, the Unit will consist of 15 campers and four counselors (Head Counselor, Counselor and CIT/SSL). During the morning, each camper fills their activity periods with a lesson choice in their unit space and another in a special subject classroom. Each week a theme will be featured and the unit's activities will center around this theme. Each morning, your camper will choose a theme activity to participate in. Additionally, campers will have swim in the camp pool five days a week with both their counselors and our swim staff.
The daily schedule and activity descriptions can be found in the tabs below.
Note: A counselor will accompany his/her group throughout the camp morning to ensure continuity for the children. While at the pool our certified swim instructors accommodate campers based on their individual level of comfort in the water. Campers must be toilet trained prior to starting camp.
