Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are due Friday, January 30, 2026.

Our admission process is designed to familiarize you with Green Acres and give you a window into the limitless joy and possibilities that await your child in the classroom. Seeing is believing. Once you've submitted your inquiry form, reach out to schedule a campus tour so you can envision how your child could explore, discover, play, grow, and learn to love learning at Green Acres. We also encourage you to join us for one of our open houses or other admission events so that you can see Green Acres in action!

Complete and submit your application.

Inquiry submitted? Check. Tour scheduled? Check. We're moving right along!

You will receive a system email with instructions for setting up your Blackbaud account. This is where you will fill out your application and manage teacher recommendations and requests for school records. There's even a handy checklist so you can keep track of what you've done and what's still left to do! When you're done, make sure to submit your application and pay the one-time application fee.

Student Visits

Once you have submitted your application, you will also be invited to schedule your child's visiting day. Student visits look a little different based on age; detailed information is broken out by grade below.

➜ Pre-K & Kindergarten

Pre-k and kindergarten visits take place on a weekend date in a group setting and last two hours. Prospective students are given the opportunity to explore and work in the classroom alongside our teachers and other visiting children. The schedule includes an indoor choice time, snack, and a group time (e.g., songs, stories, and PE). Visiting adults are required to remain at school and be available if your child should need you. The visit also includes an opportunity for adults to discuss the program with current parents and members of the administrative staff. Children should wear casual, comfortable clothing.

➜ Grades 1–8

Students applying to grades 1–8 visit for a full day with their current peer group, spending time with fellow students and making transitions throughout the day. During the course of the day, teachers will administer curriculum-based assessments (i.e., not standardized tests) in language arts and math.
