On Monday, October 8, Green Acres School welcomed 270 grandparents and special friends to campus for the afternoon. The event began with refreshments in the All-Purpose Room. After remarks from Head of School Neal Brown and a musical presentation by 4th graders, grandparents and friends visited classrooms. The guests observed and participated in a variety of math games, reading activities, science experiments, and art projects beside their students.
Following classroom visits, many guests capped the day off with a musical assembly presented by the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes. Some even volunteered to join in on percussion!
