Heads of Progressive Schools Speak

As part of its 75th anniversary celebrations, Green Acres is sponsoring a year-long speaker series. The first event, Heads of Progressive Schools Speak, took place in early September. The speakers included:

  • Neal M. Brown, Ed.D., Head of Green Acres School
  • Dan B. Frank, Ph.D., Head of Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, IL and editor of the educational journal Schools—Studies in Education
  • J. Robert Shirley, Ph.D., Head of Charleston Collegiate School in Charleston, SC and Executive Director of The National Center for Independent School Renewal (NCISR)
