Introduction to our Program

Set on a 15-acre wooded campus, Green Acres is a progressive, coeducational day school enrolling up to 320 students in Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth Grade.  Based on a knowledge of child development, the school supports the academic, social, emotional, physical, and creative growth of students in an intellectually challenging environment.  Students are inspired to participate actively in the learning process, to enjoy learning, and to become competent and creative thinkers and problem solvers.   A respectful, inclusive, cooperative, and nurturing atmosphere with a small student/teacher ratio provides a secure setting for learning.  A rich, integrated, multicultural curriculum provides the vehicle for learning and growth.  Graduates leave Green Acres well prepared to succeed in their next academic setting.  They carry with them a love of learning, a clear sense of who they are, compassion for others, and the ability to find answers and adapt successfully to an ever-changing world.
