Green Acres Weather Policy
Green Acres School follows Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) plans for all weather- related school closings, late openings, and early dismissals. If MCPS open late, we will open the same number of hours late. If MCPS are closed or dismiss students early because of weather conditions, we will do the same. Please listen to the radio (WTOP), or watch Channel 4 (NBC) for school announcements.
In the event of an early closing, we will post current information about our status on the transportation line, 301 468-8113, and will send e-mail to parents. Parents must have emergency plans for early dismissal in place to cover situations when they are not at home. We will follow this plan unless we hear from you. |
