Extended Day Program

Our Extended Day Program (EDP) operates Monday-Friday from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm. EDP offers students of all ages a rich and well-staffed program with a community feel. Younger children enjoy a home-like, project-based experience with abundant opportunity for outdoor play. Older students have supervised time to complete their homework as well as relaxed, open-ended time both indoors and out.

The goals of our Extended Day Program include providing:

  • a safe environment for students after school,
  • a nutritious snack,
  • an environment for study and homework, with adult guidance and assistance,
  • use of the gym, Computer Labs, Art Room, teaching kitchen, all playground areas, library, and various classrooms for EDP activities, and
  • an opportunity for students to interact, play and develop relationships across age groups.
