Application

Thank you for your interest in Green Acres School. Please call the Admission Office for more information at 301-881-4100 x 189. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your family.

In order to apply, complete all portions of the Green Acres School Admission Application Form and submit it by mail or online to the Admission Office along with a recent photograph of your child and a check for $75 (the nonrefundable application fee) payable to Green Acres School.

  • Online: To register online, please click here. The Green Acres School online Admission Application requires a credit card payment of the $75 fee. Send a photo separately, either electronically to admission@greenacres.org or by mail to Green Acres School, 11701 Danville Drive, Rockville MD 20852

Parent Interview

Once we receive your application and application fee, we will call you to schedule a parent/guardian interview. The interview, which is for parents only, offers opportunities for you to ask additional questions about Green Acres and to share goals or concerns you may have about your child.

Student Visit

Students applying to Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade will visit in a classroom for a half day or a full day. Students applying to grades 2-8 will visit for two days.

School Records

Arrange to have your child’s complete current school records sent to our Admission Office. Specific testing is not required for our admission process. You are welcome to submit the results of tests or evaluation if you believe they would help us understand your child’s learning styles, strengths, and needs. Complete the Request for School Records form and submit it to the applicant’s current school.

Student Recommendation Form

Arrange to have a Student Recommendation Form completed by a current teacher and returned directly to the Admission Office. (We do accept the AISGW Student Recommendation form.) Please click below for the appropriate Green Acres Student Recommendation Form:

Financial Aid Forms (if applicable)

Return completed forms to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid in Princeton, NJ and to Green Acres, as directed. (See Financial Aid: How to Apply)
