After-School Athletics

The After-School Athletic Program is open to all 5th through 8th grade girls and boys at Green Acres School. Our unique philosophy and “no-cut” policy is intended to give our athletes an introduction to both teamwork and the true meaning of sportsmanship. The Program offers students an opportunity to participate fully on a number of teams including soccer, cross-country, basketball, softball, and lacrosse. All players are encouraged to work hard in an effort to help make their teammates better players.

Green Acres is a member of the Capital Athletic Conference, which is a ten school league made up of Pre-K to 8th grade schools in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area. After Green Acres many of our athletes go on to achieve significant success at both the high school and college levels.
